This is Chris, from the Sage Universe. It's an original universe my friend and I came up with to cross into pretty much anything we wanted. Namely, 'The Hardy Boys.' It was great fun!
This is my favorite of the Sage drawings I've ever done. Certainly the best looking one, too. This is of Chris and Jordan, the two main characters, and if you can't guess, our 'Mary Sues.' We admit it with pride! They're faternal twins, spies since they were kids by circumstance, and an absolute joy to goof off with!
Another of the twins. The two are as different as apples and oranges, yet deffinitely...sisters.
It's really just a tree branch, nothing spectacular. I was sitting outside and needed to draw something, anything! But it looks cool, eh? ;)
While I was in AZ for a few months I joined my sister's RP group for a bit. This was a quick scetch I did one night to represent all of us players in character. If I'd started out earlier in the night I might have come up with something better, but it was fun anyway. :)
This was a second scetch I did some time later but with the same people/characters.
The next bunch of characters in stories from my time in a Per club. You can tell people are still very much a work in progess for me. I do better drawing with models rather than from my head, but I don't think this one turned out too bad.
Another attempt at drawing faces. Lol! One get's better with practice, right?
I've loved using the effect of light and dark in drawings. One day I intend to truely master how reflections of light work on a two dimensional image.
I struggled so hard to get that leg to look right. I don't think it's possible. :P But the horse was easy!
This was also done while I was at the club. It's cute, but I've decided I'm not much for coloring with pencil crayons. :P
Pulling out on of my ancient scretch books, this was one of the drawings that actually looked decent enough to scan in. ^.^ I was probably looking at 'something' when I drew this, all my other horse drawings had no feet. So no telling how 'original' this really is, but it's still not too shabby, I think.
Just a quick ten minute sketch I did while I was at a karate tournament. Ten minute or even two minute sketches are good. They loosen up the mind and the hand, and force you to not get hung up on the details. Not to mention my subject kept moving, I was lucky if he stayed still for a minute, let alone ten. :D
Not sure why I'm adding this one. It's so simple. But then, most of my 'drawings' aren't really drawing, just doodles. This is the perfect example!
Of all the cat doodles I've done...and I've done quite a few, this is I think my favorite of them. Probably because he's got so much attitude! :D
