Within Me
A darkness falls to cover my eyes
Not knowing it's there
Till there's nothing left.
I reach for a sky to harness the wind
A fleeting moment of freedom in a world
From the world
Within me.
And at last I find resolution
A solution to peace
I walk through the walls called life
And see for myself what all the talk is about
A blue wrinkle in space
One moment in time

Passions of water
A tide of regrets
Capping the waves with serenity and life
I don't look back to that moment
But rather see for myself
What my heart's known all along
A Lasting moment of freedom in all worlds
From this world
Within me
And each other.
